Stonebridge, the TLDR (too long didn’t read) version

    • This new-ish & trend-setting neighbourhood is in the South end of Saskatoon.

    • A good chunk of Stonebridge is snuggled inside a berm. And this is not just any berm! (Can’t remember the last time we used ‘berm’ twice in the same paragraph.)
    • The Stonebridge berm (not its official name) is a happening place. It’s frequented by dog walkers, joggers, and everyone else throughout the year. In the winter, for example, it’s not uncommon to see both kids and adults flying down the interior wall of the berm on their toboggans.
    • There are plenty of other ways to enjoy sunsets and nature in Stonebridge. With two large ponds, and a soon-to-be-built outdoor rink, this neighbourhood has plenty of skating/hockey ice to be enjoyed during our slightly famous long winters.
    • In the middle of the neighbourhood, and all accessible by walking paths, you’ll find popular grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants (Sobeys, Cobbs, Starbucks, etc.).
    • And if walking is not your preferred way of meeting your new neighbours, you’re in luck in Stonebridge because there are very active FB groups about the neighbourhood. From ‘buy and sell’, to ‘Stonebridge Parents’, to ‘Stonebridge watch/lost and found’, there’s little bit of everything on FB to make you feel connected and informed.
    • Once we reboot travelling, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find out that driving to the airport takes only 10-ish minutes.

p.s. If after seeing ‘trend-setting neighbourhood’ you thought, “Is it, though?” .. Would you believe that there’s even a Tesla dealership in Stonebridge?
